The Fundata Commune City Hall, the Fundata Local Council, and the Brașov County Council are organizing the traditional celebration "Nedeia Munţilor," which will take place at the old location "PLATOUL GIUVALA," near the Fundata Commune City Hall, next to DN 73 (behind the city hall). The traditional celebration "Nedeia Munţilor" is the "descendant" of the pastoral festival Sântilia, held on Sântilie Mountain, located on the border of Bran with Muscel and Dâmboviţa. In old documents, it appears as the "fair of two countries," Transylvania and Wallachia. Nedeia was revived in Fundata in 1969.

This year's celebration aims to revive local traditions and present Fundata to tourists with the variety and authenticity of its customs. The charm of this festival includes the famous culinary delights of the shepherds from the Carpathian mountain pastures, folk artisans, and an extraordinary folklore program featuring honored guests, starting Sunday at 12:00 PM.
