About

𝟏𝟓- 𝟏𝟖 August 2024 Apulum Romanian Festival: "History of a Ludus" - the largest historical reenactment festival in Romania
The current city of Alba Iulia rises above the ruins of ancient Apulum, the largest Roman city in the province of Dacia and at the same time its political, economic, military and cultural center.

During four days, visitors will be able to experience the realities of a long-gone world, one with Roman military demonstrations, with wars between Dacians and Romans, with gladiator fights organized in their honor, with workshops, with games and slave fairs.

The festival takes place annually and gathers hundreds of reenactors – Roman soldiers and civilians, Dacian warriors, gladiators, craftsmen or dancers. The Apulum Roman Festival is a brand of the Alba Iulia City Hall.
